1. How wide is the field of view?
The field of view is 120 degrees horizontally.
2. Can you mount the anchor/bow camera underwater?
No, our underwater cameras are specifically designed for underwater installation only.
3. Are they compatible with my brand of MFD?
We provide a compatibility chart on our website. Please refer to it to check if your device is compatible.
4. What do I use to paint the housing for marine growth protection?
We recommend using Lightspeed by PropSpeed for protecting the housing from marine growth.
5. What voltage is the camera?
All Liquid Optics cameras operate on 12v DC. Each camera should be individually fused.
6. What do I use to clean marine growth from my camera housing?
We recommend using a plastic scraper and water blasting, especially if the boat has been lifted.
7. Can they be repaired if they become faulty?
Yes, all Liquid Optics products are fully serviceable. The internals can be replaced if the vessel is still in the water, and no specific qualifications are required.
8. Do they work in low light conditions?
Yes, they automatically switch to black and white mode in low light conditions to provide better night-time visibility.
9. What sealant do I use to install the Liquid Optics Transparent housing?
We recommend using 3M Marine Sealant 5200 for applications both below and above the waterline.
10. Where can I purchase a Liquid Optics product?
